Prague Photo Editorial
Written on 4 November 2007 by RickI have just completed the photo finishing on my latest photo shoot in the romantic and truly Gothic city of Prague, the set was shot on location at the Green Lobster Hotel in the old town below Prague castle in one of their classically themed suites. The set is a fashion editorial featuring Emma McElroy, who is both a fantastic model and stylist.
Shooting Tarantino
Written on 18 September 2007 by RickI attended the Irish premier of Quentin Tarantino’s latest film ” Death Proof ” on the 14th of September. As well as meeting the legendary film director and shaking him by the hand I got some great shots of the man at a Q & A session after the film . He also signed my “Grindhouse” poster, which I will be getting framed shortly!
“Childhood darkside” project
Written on 9 August 2007 by RickI am currently working on a series of images for my current project “Childhood darkside”. The images are based on actual events and memories from my own childhood experiences, they are a reconstructed interpretation of the darker events and iconography that shapes the way your imagination feeds itself as an adult, the raw material from which your fears and insecurities have emerged. The images used have been sourced from existing stock images, my own personal image archive and brand new images taken for this project.

“Photo of the month”
Written on 9 August 2007 by RickI was delighted to see one of my Digital Art images was chosen as the readers picture of the month on Photography Monthly Magazine’s website and was featured on their home page throughout the month of May this year the image itself was taken with my Nikon D80 and processed through photoshop to create the “Dramatic” image (as they stated) you see here.
